Tula Church of Christ is a home church which is composed of a small group of Christians who are meeting in the apartment of one of the members. We accept the Bible as the Word of God, the New Testament as our only creed, and Jesus Christ as the Lord.

The church recognizes Jesus Christ as its only head, and is independent of other churches in Russia as well as abroad. To us it simply means that Jesus Christ is the Living and actual Head of His Church. It means that all believers who gather in His Name, meet under His headship. Scripture teaches us that there is only one head of the body (church), and His Name is Jesus Christ. Man is not head of the church. All believers comprise "The Church," and no matter where we gather to express the love of Christ, we are still the church. Going to a building every Sunday evening does not make us a church.

Each Sunday we get together for worship service to God as the first century church did. We pray together, sing hymns all together (no instruments), study the Bible, make a voluntary offering and observe the Lord Supper every Sunday. We try to live as Jesus taught and we try to encourage the others to follow this example. We enjoy fellowship with many wonderful believers all over the world, and in their homes, for we are all part of Jesus Christ's Church. The Church of Jesus Christ is ONE BODY and should be found in one accord on the earth.

We are always glad to see Christians and teachers from other congregations/churches of Christ all over the world and would like to use this opportunity to invite experienced brethren to share the word with us.
